Our History

The year 1919. Two San Francisco jewelers, H.J. Breslauer and J.L.Warren, set up their jewelry store in Winnipeg, Manitoba. They remained partners until 1956, when the Breslauer family purchased the entire business under the guidance of Cecil Breslauer.

1979 - The business, under the leadership of Richard Breslauer, begins their operations in the City of Calgary, in the brand new Gulf Canada Square.

1982- Opened a second Breslauer & Warren Jewellers in Chinook Centre.

1990 - H.J.'s son Cecil moves to Calgary to join Richard and the Winnipeg store is closed. The family consolidates their operations in Calgary, Province of Alberta.

2008- After 29 years in shopping centers Breslauer & Warren Jewellers builds a brand new store in the newly renovated historical Lougheed Building on 6 Avenue S.W.
